The route is designed with safety in mind and, thus, open to participants of all ages and abilities.

Number 1The event begins at Three Oaks Senior High School and travels along off-road safe routes to Heather Moyse Park.

Number 2From Heather Moyse Park, we travel along the paved off-road shared walk/bike path on Ottawa/Johnston Street until we cross Harvard. Volunteers block off these three low-traffic streets (Ottawa, Harvard, and Jenkins) as we continue travelling off-road beside Harvard Street Park and beside Staples until we stop at Water Street.

A police officer blocks traffic on Water Street as we begin our journey on the Baywalk along the shoreline.  We continue on the same route until we reach Spinnakers' Landing and enjoy some free pizza and chocolate milk.

Number 3Leaving Spinnakers' Landing, we continue on the Baywalk and join the Boardwalk coming from behind Samuels (still all off the road).  At Water and Greenwood, a police officer blocks traffic for us as we continue up Greenwood on the paved Active Transportation Pathway.

Number 4When we turn right on Willow Ave and head towards Elm Street Elementary School, we receive a police escort to finish the route at Elm Street.
